BCMS Project Management

BCMS programmes delivered on time, with clear ownership

ADVOX plans, governs and delivers Business Continuity Management System programmes, from initiation through to certification readiness and handover to business as usual.

A BCMS is a programme, not a document.

Building a BCMS touches every part of an organisation: leadership, operations, IT, facilities, suppliers and communications. Without structured project management, programmes drift, actions stall between departments and deadlines for certification or regulatory submissions are missed.

ADVOX brings business continuity expertise and programme discipline together, so the work is planned, tracked and reported in a way leadership can follow, and aligned with ISO 22301:2019, UAE NCEMA 7000 and the BCI Good Practice Guidelines (GPG 7.0).

Six programme phases.

1

Initiate

Confirm sponsorship, objectives, scope and success measures, and agree the business case and budget for the BCMS programme.

2

Plan

Build the programme plan, workstreams, milestones, resource needs and RAID log, aligned to ISO 22301 clauses and any regulatory deadlines.

3

Mobilise

Set up the steering committee, BC champions network, reporting rhythm and the tools the programme team will use.

4

Deliver

Coordinate BIA, risk assessment, strategy, plan development and training across departments, keeping work to time and quality.

5

Validate

Run exercises, internal audit and management review, close gaps, and prepare evidence for certification or regulatory inspection.

6

Transition

Hand over a working BCMS to business-as-usual owners, with a maintenance calendar and clear accountabilities.

Project management services.

Programme and PMO support

A dedicated BCMS project manager or PMO function, on site or remote, to run the programme day to day.

Governance and reporting

Steering committee packs, status reports and dashboards that show progress, risks and decisions needed.

Stakeholder coordination

Engagement with department heads, IT, facilities, suppliers and regulators so actions land with the right owners.

Certification readiness

Gap closure tracking and audit preparation for ISO 22301 certification or central bank and regulator reviews.

Recovery of stalled programmes

A rapid health check and reset plan for BCMS projects that have lost momentum or missed deadlines.

Handover and sustainment

A maintenance calendar, ownership model and refresher training so the BCMS stays current after go-live.
